Because it IS "that deep" if you're willing to dig.
I firmly believe that the division between "high art" and "low art" is fake. In my opinion, everything has meaning; there's no reason why literary, film, and other media analysis should be reserved for the likes of Shakespeare, Fitzgerald, and Hitchcock. This blog is a test of that opinion.
